FREE Art & Design Club for 13-16 year olds at The Margate School

The Margate School is delighted to announce it has joined the National Saturday Club network and is launching a new Art&Design Saturday Club for 13–16-year-olds. Free and open to young people of all abilities, the Saturday Club will run from 2nd March 2024 to 6th July 2024, from 10:00 - 13:00.

The National Saturday Club offers young people a unique opportunity to explore subjects they love for free, to build new skills, discover their talents, meet new people, and to explore future study and career possibilities.

The Art&Design Saturday Club at The Margate School will consist of weekly sessions exploring and developing skills and finding pathways to further study and careers in a friendly and welcoming environment, encouraging experimentation within the arts.

We will offer fun and engaging activities, including analogue and darkroom photography, graphic design, printing, digital skills, poster and zine design.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
